After marathon book shopping yesterday to only come home with no book, I decided to visit my local library. And lo and behold-- they had 3 copies! woohoo!
So apparently the book was published in '99 so since it's a little older, shall we say, the book stores don't carry many copies of it anymore. They have replenished their Sue Miller section with her newer books.
Anyway, I am going to try to start it tonight. Maybe this time I'll finish 2 days before the meeting instead of only 1 !!! :)

I haven't started reading yet, but that's because I haven't finished Swimming and haven't even purchased this one yet! Wonk wonk. :( I hope to start it next week though!

ReplyDeleteI have read 1 chapter. For some reason I am having a hard time getting into my book club books. It's almost like school work--because I KNOW i have to do it, it makes me want to procrastinate! Zach thinks its the funniest thing!
Just started this week and although it took a chapter or two for me to get into it - I'm now LOVING it! This might be my fave book club book yet. (well, so far). It's such an easy read - a real page-turner! Can't wait to hear what everyone else thinks!
ReplyDeleteI just started this morning!! I REALLY like it so far - only got to page 40 though but i'm IN. Only complaint? The font is too small to read on the treadmill!
